Time Stamp is on the Edit menu and it automatically places the current time at the insertion point of a headline or document window. The Time Stamp dialog box has a variety of time stamp formats. As you select different options on the Time Stamp dialog box, Sample shows what the format looks like. Once you’ve selected the time format that you like, pressing Option-Command-; (semi-colon) bypasses the dialog box and directly stamps the time at the insertion point.
